           Bhaji on the Beach           

  Bhaji on the Beach is a cert. 15 film.

 Made in Britain, by Channel 4 with     

 money from the EU, it is produced by   

 Gurinder Chadha and is her debut       

 picture.                               

  Mainly, it is about a bunch of        

 midlands Asians, centering around the  

 women of the families concerned. One, a

 student, is pregnant by a black man,   

 and as you may have guesed, when this  

 is discovered by some of the other     

 (asian) women, they are outraged.
