 Latest Rail Disaster Information...    

 The worst fears about the death toll   

 receeded as investigators found only   

 one body in the gutted wreckage of     

 carrage H.  The toll is not now        

 expected to exceed 40.                 

 Deputy assistant commissioner Andy     

 Trotter said that the temperature      

 inside the carrage had been a lot      

 lower than was originally expected.    

 Many personal possessions and documents

 survived the heat.
