  Re Workmate - now upgraded to WM98.   

It's very good and certainly preferable 

to Hyperterminal.                       

 The only thing it lacks for IP work is 

an offline edit facility.

 I always thought Workmate had all the  

 bells and whistles for offline editing,

 but never having used it, I must be    

 wrong.  It sounds like just what the   

 doctor ordered for LeX then.  Being a  

         Windows 3.1 Luddite myself, I  

         never get to try such things.
